Terms & Conditions for Utility Payments

1. Service Overview

Our platform provides a digital interface allowing customers to make bill payments to authorized service providers through regulated networks such as BBPS (Bharat BillPay System), NPCI, and registered billing partners. LKG acts strictly as an intermediary or facilitator and does not generate, modify, or validate bill details, outstanding amounts, penalties, or due dates.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of the utility services confirms that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, you must stop using the service immediately. LKG reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Such changes will be effective as soon as updated on the website, and continued use will be treated as acceptance of revisions.

3. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

• You must be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction to use this service.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration or transaction processing.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including login ID, password, or OTP.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

4. Payment Processing

• Transaction Accuracy:You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of bill details such as consumer number, bill amount, and biller name before initiating payment.
• Payment Methods:We accept payments via UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and wallets, subject to availability and supported payment gateways.
• Processing Time:Payments are typically processed instantly or within 24 hours. Delays may occur due to bank holidays, server downtimes, or biller-side issues.
• Confirmation:A transaction receipt or acknowledgment number will be sent via SMS or email upon successful payment initiation.

5. Service Charges and Fees

LKG may levy a convenience fee or transaction charge for processing bill payments. The applicable charges will be displayed before transaction confirmation. These fees are non-refundable unless the payment fails or is reversed due to technical errors.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

• Cancellation:Once a payment is initiated and processed, it cannot be canceled or modified.
• Failed Transactions:If a payment is debited from your account but not credited to the biller, you must report it within 7 days. We will investigate and process the refund as per biller and payment gateway policies.
• Refund Timeline:Refunds for failed transactions may take 7-15 business days depending on the bank and payment network.
• Duplicate Payments:If a payment is erroneously made twice, a refund request can be raised with supporting proof. LKG will coordinate with the biller for reversal.

7. Limitations of Liability

LKG is not liable for:

• Incorrect bill amounts, account numbers, or billing details provided by you or the biller.
• Delays or failures in payment processing caused by third-party service providers, banks, NPCI, the BBPS network, or billers.
• Service disruptions or disconnection by the biller due to non-payment or late payment.
• Loss of data, service interruptions or system downtimes beyond our reasonable control.
• Unauthorized access to your account due to negligence in safeguarding credentials.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform's functionality.
• Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to access or manipulate the service.
• Submit false information or impersonate another person or entity.
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, software, and materials on this platform are the property of LKG or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of this service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

11. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
• If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

12. Termination

LKG reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason deemed necessary. Upon termination, any pending transactions will be processed, but you will lose access to your account and transaction history.
